There are tonnes of photoshop tutorials available out there from simple tweaking effects to advanced movie style photo effects. This is my simple and quick version of turning your normal photos into glowing glamorous portraits.

In this tutorial, Lets use this picture of Jessica Alba.

STEP1: Open the image inside photoshop and Duplicate the image in the Layers window. (Press F7 if you don’t see the Layers window)

STEP 2: From the menu, Goto Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur and apply a Gaussian Blur of 2.0

Now the image should look something like this:

STEP 3: Right Click on the Current layer from the Layers window and choose ‘Blending options’ and set it to ‘Overlay’

With a slight adjustment of the Brightness/Contrast of your liking, you get the final image:
