Researchers to develop Doctor Bots to treat patients


The New Zealand researchers have joined hands with their Korean counterparts to develop a robot that can perform some basic duties of a doctor. The three year project will be carried out in the new robotics laboratory in Auckland. The Kiwi-based Foundation for Research, Science and Technology will provide $1.8 million to the project, while Korea has agreed to offer $3.7 million.

It’s also about making the way they behave to be suitable for a Western environment. It’s not just language, it’s also what they say and how they say it.
