IPhones can be tethered wirelessly says Engadget. The $10 Netshare app sneaked into the Apps store without being censored. The app is just a SOCKS proxy that links an ad-hoc WiFi network to the iPhone’s 3G or EDGE connection. I guess the guys at Engadget managed to download it (it’s offline now though). Video after [...]

That’s right people! iTunes 7.7.1 is available for download. Though is no clear information on what this update will do except for a few vague words as “fixes to improve stability and performance“.
Also remember this update is available in few days after the iPhone app DRM was cracked. So if you are playing with the black arts, wait or someone to report whether this affects anything. The software is available through the Apple’s software update.

Just in a week time, more and more people are reporting about white iPhone cracks. From Crunch Gear to MacRumors, everyone is talking about the cracks in the white iPhone.
For almost 1year none reported about cracks in the black iphones. Are black iPhone stronger than black or it’s just the black iPhones good in hiding the cracks?!

Thats true. Now perverts in Japan who use iPhone 3G to take spy shots of upskirt or downblouse pictures will really get into trouble.
Apple is releasing the iPhone 3G in Japan with a lpoud camera shutter sound every time the picture is taken. It will play the shutter sound even when the phone is put [...]
Nate True has posted an interesting tutotial at creations.net on how to “tether” your iPhone 3G and use its Internet connection on your laptop. It is possible to use the iPhone 3G as a modem for your windows or Mac by Jailbreaking it and installing 3Proxy.
Here is the outline:
Tethering your iPhone is against the iPhone data plan terms. AT&T could slap you with huge fees if you overuse this. I recommend only using it during emergencies. This applies to users anywhere around the world too. Beware of your usage or you may endup paying more.
